Pelagic is proud to partner with our friend Daryl Morita and Morita Customs Gaffs to bring you a custom limited edition Pelagic x Morita Bamboo gaff offered in both 6' and 8' lengths. 3" Hook 7' Length Calcutta Bamboo (also known as "Iron Cane”) Gaffs are known for the strength and lightweight characteristics allowing the ability to flex and bend like a fishing rod while absorbing the thrash of a hot fish. It truly makes the perfect gaff. Not to mention, it floats too! All are sanded and coated with rod finish epoxy and handles include spaced cork tape under double X wrapped grip with a rubber mushroom butt cap at gaff's end. The Morita Stainless Steel Hook is made from knife-grade stainless steel, which can be heat-treated to prevent bending and enhance strength. Unlike traditional hardened steel hooks that rust or 316 stainless hooks that bend, it offers the best of both materials. All Morita Gaff hooks are designed and bent by Daryl himself.
